The University of France hosts awide variety of degree programs. Our course materials have been prepared byinstructors well versed in their respective fields. Their efforts reflect themost up-to-date use of telemetric for the benefit of the serious distancelearner.

Degree programs take threeor four years. However, many applicants bring to their studies a variety ofacademically relevant skills and abilities that may reduce the duration oftheir undergraduate or graduate programs. Students for example, are encouragedto submit the maximum number of college level equivalency examinations (such asthe CLEP or ACE exams in the US or CAT in the UK).The college also recognizes PEP (thePlacement Examination Program) and DANTES (the American Defense Activity for Non-TraditionalEducational Support tests).

When an applicant’seducation is difficult to define using such formal criteria, University of France mayapply direct work related experience towards credit. This is in line with thegrowing recognition that as education is relevant to employment, likewiseemployment is relevant to education. But what should be the assessmentmechanism? This is a difficult question - one that the academic communitycontinues to debate. Our assessment criteria are being continuously updated and improved.
